Gravel Gardens looking good at 21 Moorfields

Up on levels 12 and 13 at 21 Moorfields our new gravel gardens are establishing well and looking good. Nestled under these gravel garden are massive fan enclosures Although only in 100mm of soil, these planted roofs further enhance biodiversity on site in addition to the roof terrace gardens on other levels.  Without these gravel gardens these surfaces would be just reflective  expanses of grey.  There’s no doubt these resilient drought-tolerant plants will greatly improve the view for anyone looking at them. It is good to see this building start to come alive with planting although there is still plenty to do.
