Andy Sturgeon awarded Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute

Andy is pleased to announce that he has become a Chartered Member of the Landscape institute. The Landscape Institute is the chartered body for the landscape profession including landscape scientists, landscape planners, landscape architects, landscape managers and urban designers. It promotes the art and science of landscape practice with the aim of protecting, conserving and enhancing the natural and built environment for the public benefit.

Andy was awarded Chartered Membership through the invited route which in particular recognises industry leaders and experts who make a special contribution to developing and promoting the landscape Profession.

The Landscape Institute states:

“Chartered membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) is only awarded to those who reach the highest standards in landscape education and practice. CMLI is a mark of excellence that tells prospective clients and employers that a landscape practitioner is the best in their field”

This is a great honour for Andy and a confirmation of his outstanding contribution over the years to the landscape practice as well as many landscaping projects both public and private.

Andy says:

‘Having worked in this field for over 35 years, it’s an honour to become a Chartered landscape architect. I look forward to supporting the profession as it grows and diversifies over the next 35 years.’
