Yilong Fan holds a Master’s first-class degree from Kingston University. He completed his Bachelor in environmental design at Yunnan University from China.
He was  awarded the John Farmer Prize for Consideration of Landscape Sustainability at Kingston university.

His interest was in the balance between the standardization of the playground and its educational significance.

Since joining ASD he has been involved in the design development of Convoys Wharf a commercial site, podium garden and playground, London. He also has experience working on interior and urban designs in Shanghai .
