Lillie Square is a residential scheme located at the point where Kensington, Chelsea and Fulham meet. ASD were given a full appointment at the outset of the project to create a high quality residential development based on ‘contemporary garden-square living’ through a series of communal and private gardens.
Lillie Square itself is a modern interpretation of the classic London Square. Meticulously designed, it accommodates a rich tapestry of plants set within large green lawns and framed by a bespoke timber sculptured seat. Columbia Gardens consists of exuberant planting, both playful and colourful. Hardy perennial plants informally grouped are countered by geometric stone seat circles, linked by a serpentine gravel path. The intensity of planting is balanced by a series of open elliptical lawns.
The first phase launch became the fastest selling London development at the time with the first purchasers taking residence in summer 2016. ASD are appointed to provide a full consultancy service for the remaining phases including Affordable Housing.
