I felt immensely flattered to be asked by a professional garden photographer to design her garden. Nicola wanted me to reinterpret my 2005 Chelsea garden on the banks of the Thames. In fact the result isn’t a reinterpretation but does include two key elements: the oak cube sculptural path and numerous planting combinations. I would describe it as an English Country Garden on a small scale and although it was an unusual brief for me to work on I am totally thrilled with how it has developed
