Lock Down Design Service
full design service
Even under these restricted circumstances we can still offer our full garden design service but with a bit of a twist. Most importantly for you we are reducing our fees for the time being but still offering the same high quality of design.
I began my career as a designer on a postal planning service for Homes and Gardens magazine but the internet makes all this much easier to do nowadays. A combination of Zoom meetings, photos and videos, Google Earth and Street View allows us to go about our business as usual (almost).
You may have existing plans and surveys or for smaller projects you may be able to measure the garden yourself and I can give precise instructions for this or I can organise a professional survey if it’s possible to follow the government guidelines regarding distancing. We have produced our own very robust policy for site visits.
If a new garden is designed now it can be tendered in the summer when we are finally out of lock down and then built over autumn and winter ready to enjoy next year.
We can also still submit planning applications and keep projects moving.
You can find more details about how I work here
With spring underway and summer fast approaching this is the perfect time to plan your garden. Many trade nurseries are still delivering plants so we can design a planting scheme right away and have the plants and compost delivered to your door. And we can give detailed information about planting and maintenance to make sure you have everything you need.
fees and costs
Because we need to keep working we can offer significant reductions on our normal fees. If you email a number of photos and the approximate area of the garden we can talk on the phone or via Zoom and I can give you a precise fee and a clear breakdown of the way our design service works.
