This conceptual garden show sadly only survived for one year and has not been replaced.  Essentially these were gardens with a message to deliver or were based on a single concept.  I wanted to draw attention to the need for urban greening to improve our visual environment but also to reduce urban temperatures, increase biodiversity and stop our gardens from being paved over.

The corten monoliths represent an urban skyline with the sinister shadows of the buildings falling across the countryside which is planted with a field of wheat.  An arcing path marks the line where urban sprawl is halted and the pristine countryside with wild flowers can continue.
