A Huf Haus lends itself well to sloping sites as they can sit into the slope with huge basement doors and windows leading off bedrooms and into the garden.  Here we devised a separate sunken courtyard as a lounge area for entertaining where a water spout pours into a raised pool with planting.  A separate dining area is within easy reach of the house and a raised deck beneath the generous roof overhang meant that there was always somewhere to seek either sun or shade

In the front garden a dog run for several sizeable pets was carefully integrated and concealed making it incredibly practical and accessible for owners and animals yet very much part of the structure and aesthetics of the garden.  With projects like these every detail is vital whether it be a light fitting or the design of the gates and even the letterbox
